Connie Lenz - Middle School and High School
Phone: (920) 983-9174 ext. 4530 Mrs. Lenz’s involvement with the De Pere Orchestra program began when her children started participating. She was a substitute music teacher, accompanist for Solo & Ensemble, and the Green Bay Youth Symphony Coordinator in 1995-96. She became the De Pere orchestra director for grades 4-8 in 1996. Eight years later she moved on to be the MS and HS director of orchestras. Mrs. Lenz earned a comprehensive music education degree with an emphasis in instrumental music from UW-Platteville. In 2003, she earned her Master’s Degree from UW-Green Bay in Applied Leadership for Teaching and Learning . Being married for 38 years, they both enjoy family time with their three children and seven grandchildren. Mrs. Lenz enjoys quilting and is an active member of her church choir and hand bell choir.. |
Kris Wegge - Foxview
Phone: (920) 983-9174 ext. 3030 Mrs. Liedtke started with the De Pere Orchestra program as a student and has now been a teacher and director in the program for over 10 years. Prior teaching in the De Pere school district, she taught high school band in Iowa and general music in Hudson, WI. Mrs. Liedtke received a degree in music from Luther College, focusing on string bass performance and music history. She earned her education degree from St. Norbert College and her master’s degree in Applied Teaching and Learning from UW-Green Bay. She currently performs in many ensembles, including the Green Bay Civic Symphony, Recorders by the Bay, Ascension Lutheran Church Worship Band, and leads the Heritage Hill Volunteer Music Group. |
Michelle Bredael - Dickinson
Phone: (920) 983-9174 ext. 1569 Mrs. Bredael has been with De Pere music program for the past 17 years. In addition to teaching the 4th grade orchestra, she teaches general music for kindergarten through 4th grade. She has also taught 5th grade orchestra and 5th and 6th grade band. Mrs. Bredael received her Bachelor’s Degree in music education from St. Norbert College in 1995. Her focus was on elementary general music and instrumental music for grades kindergarten through 12. In 2005, she received her Master’s Degree in Adaptive Education for Music. |
Teresa Zegers - Altmeyer
Phone: (920) 983-9174 ext. 6011 Mrs. Zegers has taught general music for 37 years. Her career started at Notre Dame elementary for fourteen years and then at Dickinson, Heritage and Altmayer for the past twenty-three years. She began Orchestra three years ago, and she loves seeing the progress each student makes. She graduated from River Falls University with a music degree and played the violin through college. The best reward she has as a music teacher is to see her students enjoy music as much as she does. |
